I read and enjoyed the homecoming series....but i have one question...the last book in the homecoming series....was there truly ANY point to it at all that connected it to the rest of the series? with the original "heroes" gone was there any point in continuing the series? I think what card said in the 400 pages of Earthborn he could have said in a chapter of the other book...i dunno what it is...i just feel that the last book had really no connection to the other books because i got close to the main characters and none of them were in Earthborn except Shedemi. We knew what the cloak of the starmaster could do and the fact that she had it and really only used it for little things didnt do me much....and she slept most of the time except when she was needed and when she gardened plants. Thats about it :-D

The Homecoming Series is meant to be a retelling of the Book of Mormon. The last book in the series describes some rather important things that happen in the BOM.

If you're interested go here and it'll probably be explained better than I ever could. I'm not a mormon either, so everything I know is just stuff I've picked up.
