Just curious who else has read this and what they thought of it. I loved the writing and am ready to devour the second book!

I have been meaning too. Its on a to read list that is getting out of hand. It like all other OSC works is near the top though. Just out of curiosity how much of the book was straight out of scripture and how much seemed to be fiction?

I enjoyed both Sarah and Rachel and Leah, but Rebekah is my favorite of the three. [Smile]

Orange...I am not very clear on my scripture but to me it seems to be a very well done ficitionalization of the Scriptures. Of course Card had to make choices on what was more correct with history and scriptures but I felt he did an awsome job writing this. There were times I was so worried about what would happen even though I knew the ending that I had to keep reading!

I read all three books from this series and absolutely loved them... (it only took me 2 and a half weeks to read them and I have a 1 and 7 year old and a full time job...lol)

I don't know much about the scriptures, but I have to say, these books made me dig out our Bible and start reading it (and I am not very "religious" so to speak)

just my 2cents

Sarah is my favorite of the three actually, so I'm with you ostyinmi!! I remember falling madly in love with Abraham when OSC posted the first 3 chapters online, even before the book was published. [Smile] The whole thing seemed more real and flowed better than the other two IMO. But I've read them all.

Have you read Stone Tables? I think I like that one best out of his four biblical novels. I have to read that again, it's sitting lonely on my shelf. [Big Grin]
