It's the first time I write here, but I've been reading this forum for a while.
It may seem a little egoist from me (and probably it is), since I'm just posting in order to ask a question which affects me in a more or less personal way -not to start a debate-.
I felt really happy when I knew sotg had been released, but... I still can't read it.
Maybe anyone of you can tell me when will Sotg be released in Spain? I've searched for Sotg at amazon, but the shipping costs are awful, and the timing is also desperating, so all I can do is wait... but it will be kind to know when I could get the book.

I have no idea when SOTG is gonna be released in Spain but... where in Spain are you right now? If I remember correctly there's another Spanish Hatracker, and kat's gonna be there later this year. ( details here )

I'll ask my agent if she knows. I know they try to bring out the translated books as quickly as possible, but it simply takes time for a translator to do a good job. Especially when a book includes all the weirdness that goes on in mine ...
An added problem is that usually, by the time the American edition comes out the manuscript has been in the hands of the publisher - and therefore all the foreign-language publishers - for as much as a year. But I didn't finish writing Giant until the first week of December. So the translator didn't get a chance to start work on the book until the beginning of this year at the earliest. That delays the Spanish edition even more - and it's entirely my fault. I'm sorry!

Another countryman is good to have here. The book is not translated still, that I know. If you want it in English trie to go to Norma or to some special bookshop (not to a current, which they can be late years in bringing it)

As far as I've noticed, none of the sequels to Ender's Game have been translated to swedish
Not that I really care, I like OSC's writing so I want to read HIS words, not someone elses rewrite of his works in a different language. Literature is an form of art and should be enjoyed just as the author made it, reading something translated is not the same thing.. especially when it comes to people like Tolkien, Shakespeare etc, where the language used is a huge part of what makes it so good. And there's always the risk for a crappy translation; The swedish translation of LotR comes to mind, we hate it and even tolkien himself read the translation and complained about it... I can live with the fact that the translator was nowhere as good with words as Tolkien, but there were a LOT of BIG mistakes made.
Eowyn killing the Nazgul Lord comes to mind, in the swedish translation he got the participants mixed up, so the big bad Nazgul "who could not be slain by the hand of Man" was slain by... Merry? I never did understand how that worked when I first read the book, and only found out years later it was actually Eowyn who did the killing, and some more minor errors leading to debates about whether orchs have beards or not (in the swedish translation Gimli cuts the beard off of an orch with his axe, in the original it was a jawbone, if I recall correctly), and if Legolas has children (in the original Legolas remarks something about enjoying walking "with you children", meaning that he is a LOT older than the rest of the fellowship, in the swedish he talked about enjoying walks in the forests with his children).
So... as far as a book is written in an language I can understand, I prefer the original but still it's kinda sad that not more of OSC's works are available in swedish, I know a lot of people who aren't that great at reading/understanding english. The last swedish book by OSC I can recall seeing must've been the second or third Alvin Maker.

Thank you all for your suggestions, and thank you Mr. Card for such a quick response.
Finally, I could get SoTG on a p2p network in English, (I promise you, Mr. Card, I'll buy a copy when it's in Spain, I want to have it at home) and I've just finished reading it.
Now, I have another problem... and it's that I cannot wait till Mr. Card writes the next book
