Find measure of vertex angle in iso. triangle with sides 22 22 and 28

Try splitting it into two right triangles of 22, 14, and ~17 (draw a line from the halfway point of the 28 side to the vertex between the 22 sides), and see what you can do from there.

Well, once you do what Bekenn said, you can use the law of sines to find the two base angles. Then subtract the two of those from 180 and you have you vertex.
