Has anyone ever read the FAQ's and then thought, "I can now place OSC as a character!" After reading his responses to questions, and finding what he had to say about reading other peoples work, it was clear to me that in some small way, or large way, he wrote himself in as a combination of all the adults that were involved with running Battle School. Rackham, Graff, Anderson, they all played important roles, and all had the same cool sarcastic tone. Cool and calculated, that's how they roll. Also they all at one point or another talked about their mutual love for Ender's Jeesh, perhaps the love the OSC has for them? Maybe I'm crazy.

Well I think he is a combination of Graff, Abner Doon, and Han Fe Tzu.

Doon and Graff because they are both ministers of colonization, and Fe Tzu because he is the wise father that the other two don't get to be.
