***Possible tiny spoilers for Wyrms?***

Now, I'm not quite done with Wyrms (a very enjoyable book, I must say), but something about how the Unwyrm is described intrigued me. It seems if it is described very similarly to the Unmaker in the Alvin Maker saga. (Of course, since I haven't finished the book, they could be quite different after all.)

Was it a conscious decision or not to make the two forces so similar? Both deter the main character from their desired course of action: In Alvin, by forcing him to keep making to hold the unmaker back, and in Patience, by forcing her to go towards the Cranning to relieve her from mental distress.

What does everyone think about it?

How far are you into Wyrms? Couldn't be too far. Keep reading and I think you'll realize that they aren't as similar as you think.

Lol, ok. I'm only about halfway through. This is why I generally avoid making topics on books before I finish them... hehe.
