To me it seemed like Empire was set up for a secuel? I mean with Torrent being president and Cole and Cecily are suspicious. Or maybe I'm just hopeful.

the ending definately allows for a continuing story. I didnt really like it that much though.

I hope that this series gets put on the back burner for a while. I would rather see any number of diffents books that Card has talked about, come out first.

ditto on Shadows in Flight, although Empire is one of the best books I've read in a while. Card continues to amaze me.
