Class registrations are just around the corner, and so the question arises: Will Professor Card be here next semester?
I've heard he's doing better, but that he's still in rough shape. I'm just wondering if anyone a bit closer to him has a better gauge on this issue than rumor and hearsay.

He is doing well. Thanks for asking. However, this is our daughter's senior year and he always intended to be home for it. So he will not be teaching this school year. Sorry about that.

It's true; my daughter's going to be in high-school next year, and it's about to drive me insane.
I can't imagine the difficulty of having a daughter about to be in college in a year.
