Earlier this week I had the opportunity to take a bunch of my students to a digital media festival of which Arlen Card was the Keynote speaker. I just mention it here because Arlen was such an engaging and dynamic speaker. He inspired the students to reach for their goals and be their own advocate. If any one ever has a chance to see Arlen I highly recommend it and also if you are college age and going to Utah Valley University make sure you sign up for his class.

Pretty cool; I stumbled upon the younger Mr. Card's website a while back. It made me wonder if maybe he'd be writing the soundtrack to the movie (I don't know how much control OSC has over various aspects of production). There are samples of his work on his website.

I don't think he was teaching at UVU while I was studying there. Pity.
