A female friend I care deeply about recently became very ill she risisted going to the docter because one she hates them and two she has no insurance. Finally after a little pushing from me she let her mom take her to the emergency room, I think. I got a voicemail from her that disturbs me to no end... she calls me saying she is at the emergency room of such and such charity hospital, proceeds to tell me about needles, blood taking, and a spinal taps, and then tells me when to expect her home, the deadline passed a day ago no sign, no word I went to the hospital no dice, her house no dice. Now I'm getting worried that she might have wandered off(she's a stubborn lass, I seem to have a thing for that type apparently, and when she gets something in her head you either get out of the way or follow along except me for some reason she listens to me...only after a contests of wills though)because she didnt like being there or slipped through the cracks in an underfunded understaffed hospital either way I'm scared for her, she can take care of herself but last I saw her she was weaker than a sick kitten.

Why not ask her mother?

her mother doesnt take kindly to anyone...not to mention she is a borderline schizo...I've been getting myself in the weirdest messes lately [Wall Bash] . It's like this even if I asked her the response i would most likely get is she's not here and a hang up and asking her in person could turn into a tussel for just asking, I'd rather not put more strain on her relationships with family and friends than necessary. I'm checking out the hospitals tonight hoping I'll find her daughter though.

Wow. If only her mom was more trusting. [Frown]

Sorry, LR. Hopefully, you're getting all of your bad luck out of your system now, and the next 70 years will be smooth sailing. [Smile]

Where there is a will, there is a way. Maybe someone on staff at the hospital will remember her and point you in the right direction. That is the last place you knew she was physically, and you should at least try again. Maybe luck will be with you and someone will understand your situation.

Good luck, I hope she is O.K.

P.S. The situation with the fairer species is the most wonderful thing and the most taxing at times. Love is a many-splendored thing and I hope it fairs you well.

Well I found her...apparently she came in at the end of the nurse on duty shift and he didnt feel like doing the paperwork and stuff then so he left a message for whoever was on duty afterwords, it got misplaced and she kinda slipped through the cracks. Dang charity hospitals they do great with multiple gunshot wounds(Ive heard that from about 8 or 10 police officers) but are too understaffed and underfunded for the rest. She's fine and under observation though she gets released tuesday. [The Wave] [Party] [The Wave] ill never tire of those animations
