I said I didn't hate anyone and I try not to, but this...
My cousin's been more like my brother, and he's had to deal with more than his share of crap. He's lived with his grandparents in NV since his mother was judged an unfit mother and his father (my uncle) ran off. His father's back now, after so many years. His grandparents finally told him after years upon years of abuse that they didn't want to deal with him anymore.
His mother, who had been saying for all those years how much she wished he could live with her took him in two weeks ago. She just kicked him out. For no reason other than that he wouldn't deal with his stupid half-sister's threats to run away from home.
I hate her and I'm so furious right now that I could cry. I hate that I hate her but I can't help it. I'm going to get him.

I can only echo Sopwith's sentiments. And, remember, it's okay to let yourself feel these things. As long as you don't beat her up or something, it's healthy to feel what you do.

I know what it's like to be thrown/jump from house to house inside, and outside of a family. Please, if you go and get your cousin, keep him. (abashed) Sorry if I misled, I should have clarified that his mom lives in MN, about 20 mins away from me.
So he's here now, and that's great. The only problem is finding out where to have him stay. We haven't the means to keep him here, though it kills me to say so.

How old is this cousin of your's? Maybe they can get a job to help out/save up in order to get by for now, then move out later? Just a suggestion....in fact, it's how I plan to go about the next year or so, living with Ma....

He plans on doing that, but the job market's rather... Anyhow, I think we're going to be fine. We've already got plans for him to go live with his Dad.
