Okay. I died today in Mafia anyway, so why not clean up my SN? This keeps my 1000th post another 700+ posts away now anyhoo!

Also, my email is now visible so you can spam me at will!

Thanks Hatrack! [Big Grin]

Well, if nothing else, I'll stop thinking of you as pale as death, laying lifeless in a Victorian era hotel room in a pristine white lace night gown. For whatever reason, I could only picture you as female. Knowing that your name is Erik, however, pretty well kicks that in the pants. [Big Grin]

Ok, but you will always be eslaine to me. [Big Grin]

Which, if you say it phonetically wrong, kind of sounds like a Mexican saying "He's slain." Which goes very well with mafia today. Welcome to the graveyard Erik.

And for the record, I knew you were a dude. (Hence some of my better insults on the Insult Thread.) [Wink]

Hrm.
So is Erik male or female...? [Dont Know] [Dont Know]

The name "eslaine" was too much like "Elaine" for me to envision a male person, so I suppose I am glad to have this issue cleared up...

Although whenever somebody gets a new name I have to conciously remember very hard that they have more than one name and it is the same person typing.

*sigh*

I pictured you as female. [Blushing]

The name of this thread made me laugh. Thank you.

I think maybe you were funnier when you were a girl. I mean, when people thought you were. I mean, when people kept thinking it and saying it and you had to keep denying it. Yeah, that was pretty funny. Um.... San Dimas High School Football Rules!

Well... that's true. And not just due to gender confusion (although...maybe I should pretend to be a woman with the moniker "Erik").

If I'm lame right now, it's pretty much due to my life being pretty lame for me. I have way too much time on my hands, as evidenced by my rapidly growing post count, and things are not-too-cool for a number of reasons that I shouldn't want to bore you with.

I'm not here to whine, however. If anything, being here has helped immensely. And, if nothing else, my writing is not suffering, but improving. That's another reason I stick around.

I love all you guys, but some Jaquateros really ping a tuning fork on that funny bone, and I'd really like to thank them by SN:

Ralphie
Papa Moose
Morbo
Dan Raven
Bob Scopaz

And thank you all for your company down this long road.

((((Hatrack))))

We love you too, Elaine. I mean, Erik. For the record, I never thought you were female. What I did think of every time I saw your previous name was "English as a Second Language" (due to the abbreviation "esl," not due to your writing). And continuing to stick around Hatrack is a great way to improve your writing skills. Just look at what we've done for deerpark27!

How did I not realize this before??? And I was so curious as to where this Erik chatacter came from [Confused] And now I'm just laughing at myself [Blushing]

Cool. It gives a decent reason, other than gushing, to bring it back!

(For the record: eslaine=female, er, I mean Male, yeah, definately male. Where's that football thread?)

Yeah, but at this rate you'll hit a thousand posts in about a month. Whoa.

Impressive, most impressive. But you are not a Jedi yet.

You know, Erik, none of this would have been necessary if you'd stop acting like such a girl.

Yeah, me too. I think that's because "eslaine" looks and sounds like "elaine". Well, I'm glad that's cleared up!!

(edit: Teshi, yeah... sorry, I didn't bother to read the entire thread before posting!)
