Heh. I thought I'd already whined about this. Today my family's dragging me out for drinks and Italian food in celebration of my safe return. Tomorrow, it's friends who'll insist on drinking (and they'll claim it's in celebration of my safe return). If only I'd known sooner -- but I've only been in the country four days thus far.
Also, I'm not quite sure your invitation, as tempting as it may be, is accurate. September fourth? Wasn't that yesterday?
I'd love to meet you and Paul and Moose. Maybe even Icarus, so long as I could avoid him most of the evening.
