Wow. I thought this thread was going to be about a new species of red magpie.
(btw, Banna, you can edit the title of the thread )

Of course, then several of the comments won't make sense...

yeah and if I edit I'll get yelled at again. Ahh it isn't a mistake to be terribly ashamed of. I don't know even now if I thought the correct spelling and typed it wrong or not. I've tried to spell both of them several times since and I do them both backwards about 1 out of every 3 times.
I'm not a writer and if I was, that's what editors like JonBoy are for.

I don't usually watch it (honest!), but last Friday's America's Home Video had a very funny bit. A little boy was showing off his prize rodent (rat, hamster, does it matter?) on video. He put it on top of his cage for a better view. Out of nowhere, a raptor hawk or falcon swoops down, nabs it and flies off.

Sigh, I opened this thread hoping to see the red magpie of prophecy.

That was funny, Morbo. But did you hear that they've suspended the falcon program at NYC Central Park, because one of the raptors grabbed a hapless chihuahua, thinking it was a rat?
Now that's funny!
