In this thread, we talk about why we miss Ralphie.

I'm very glad Ralphie found a job she likes. I hope they're not working her too hard. And I miss her.

Who else keeps us on our toes the way she does? Motivates us to keep our sarcasm detectors in tip-top condition? Ensures the OoC thread gets posted to regularly?

And of course, there is but one source of Ralphie Luv®!

I also miss Ralphie. And also opening her Siren Call and seeing it's actually her calling, and not the boy with the poofy head. [Razz]

I miss our dear Ralphie who taught me everything I know about internet flirting [Smile]

I also miss Ralphie, not least because she's won initiative this round but never checks her E-mail in order to reply to game turns...

My life is clearly lacking without all the talk about Ralphie's Rack™.

[ROFL]

I know rack is short for Hatrack but in that context, it sounds like you talking about something that belongs to Ralphie that isn't the 'rack(forum).

[Evil Laugh]

Well, that's what Ralphie is known for. [Big Grin]

Oh, you innocent, innocent newbie.

I'm not a newbie Frisco. You know me. It's Nick. This is the name I used when I first joined last June. [Smile] With the posts combined from my username "Nick" I have over 2500 posts. That nearly rivals yours I might add.....
[Wink]

Technically, I've been here longer than you. [Taunt]

I hate Ralphie. I'm glad she's gone.

Alligator?

Ralphie-lover.

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

The alligator is a Ralphie-lover?

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

I think he thinks you are an alligator, saxon75. Sort of like Slash and zgator, and Jacare.

Right, Pat?

(Hug me. [Smile] )

Posted by Pat (Member # 879) on :

Wait a second. I had you mistaken for Zan there for a second. sorry.

You are just a stinking Ralphie lover.

((((((Claudia Therese))))))

Did you see the other thread?

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

No, I've lost track, but I'll look it up. Thanks.

(((Pat)))

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

Um, Slash is a lizard and Jacare is a crocodile.

I've never been mistaken for Zan before, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

Freaking weird. I too thought it was Zan.

Man, I need to start getting to bed earlier.

Mega, that was always my problem, too. I've been behind since birth.

I miss Ralphie too.

Oh well, when she returns, she'll be an ex carnie how cool is that!

Posted by Frisco (Member # 3765) on :

Well, Nick, I don't think newbie status has as much to do with time as it does with the fact that this whole time you haven't realized that when we refer to Ralphie's Rack, it has nothing to do with the forum. [Razz]

*pat pat*

Poor Nick!

[Big Grin]

Posted by Troubadour (Member # 83) on :

How could you *not* miss ralphie??!?

Posted by Megachirops (Member # 4325) on :

I missed her, but if I ever get another clean shot, I'll make up for it!

[Mad]

LOL, Ic! I realized just after I posted the thread that sooner or later, someone would be obliged to make that joke. Thanks for volunteering. [Big Grin]

I miss her smashingly witty one-liners that would take anyone else days to think of. [Smile]

Ralphie, we love you, we hope your job is going well.

Hmmm...

Since people are getting me and sax mixed up, maybe we can make use of this.

Why don't we switch lives every once in awhile? I suggest during times when I have to change diapers.

Ack! There is no "sax". There is no "sax". There is no "sax". :sigh of relief: [Kiss]

I didn't expect everyone to like me, but I would appreciate it if everyone would at least refrain from claiming I don't exist...

Posted by zaxon75 (Member # 5840) on :

Does this help?

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

I'm sure that should just about clear it up.

Posted by zaxon75 (Member # 5840) on :

I have to feed Ryan around 6:30. He usually makes a fill up right about then, so if you could stop by about 7, that would be great.

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

Thanks, kids.

I'm almost no longer Ralphie the Carnie. But then I'll have to get a real job. I'm looking for something in the "sit around and syphon entire paychecks off of surfing the internet."

Let me know if you hear of anything.

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

I'd give you my job, but I'm kind of using it right now.

Posted by Megachirops (Member # 4325) on :

Who is Ralphie?

[Confused]

Posted by Scott R (Member # 567) on :

I don't know, but if he's not using his gun rack, I'd like to borrow it.

You could write, not just a biography of Orson Scott Card, but also what affects his writings have on his readers, and about his readers in general. And we're his readers, so just try to understand us more (and how do you do that other than replies to our own posts?), and your problem is solved.

Yeah, there's a big market for this. The problem is that, while we're all just vain and egocentric enough to consider buying it, we're also cheap as hell.

Sara - Only for three more days. Then I get to wash the fleas and funk off for good.

I'm glad you included a light switch on your picture, Ralphie. There just aren't enough light switches on Hatrack. Viva light switches.

OMG, that was such a hot rack!!! Party at Ralphie's house! Is it warm in here, or is it just me? [Smile]

Ooooo, I was missing out on discussion of Ralphie's rack? Why didn't I come in here earlier?!

Posted by Lalo (Member # 3772) on :

Yeah, Ralphie, don't think I don't see the suggestive posturing of those two overturned crystal cups. And frankly, using glass to represent erect nipples disgusts me. You disgust me. For shame, Toni.
