I've been looking for a conservative pundit I can respect. The Right has Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly... Proven liars and bullies all, though they're the most celebrated conservative pundits in the US.
The worst (only?) liberal "pundit" is Michael Moore. Moore, while vitrolic, at least maintains factual accuracy in his writing (even if his movie had several egregious errors). Then there's Al Franken, a brilliant Jewish comedian/pundit who, in his latest book, steadily dissected the lies of the above four conservative pundits. Paul Krugman, my personal favorite, is not only a New York Times Op-Ed columnist, he's the economics professor at Princeton University. There are several other muckrakers out there, but I'm not sure if they speak for liberal America or simply against American corruption.
I can't think of any other spokespeople for the liberal side of America, but the ones I can remember are pretty damn impressive (Moore too, to a certan degree, though I don't approve of his demagogic tactics; they lower him to the Republican level).
Are there any intelligent, articulate, or reasonable conservative pundits out there? At this point, I'd settle for dimwitted but honest. Also, are there any not-so-impressive liberal pundits I should know about?
(Colmes counts more as a Hannity punching bag than a liberal pundit. Heh. What a joke.)

Heh, granted, the above post is more of a rant/whine than a question.
But Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, and O'Reilly are all proven liars. Are there any conservative pundits who aren't? And how does it reflect on the conservative cause in the US when it hires vipers like those to champion its cause?
