11/15 is my nephew's birthday. I guess I better send him an email. Labor is reactive to decrease insulin and engage cortisol. Cortisol antagonizes Progesterone, which has to stop in order for the Oxytocin to start.

Insulin antagonizes Cortisol, so sweets and starches could be somewhat reduced.

There is a spike of births on Yom Kippur due to the observance of the fast. I'm less sure if this happens during Ramadan. But the theory is this is due to a cortisol release. This is also why nasty shocks are supposed to throw women into labor. But you already tried that.

Wonderful people born in November....

We celebrate my oldest son's 18th birthday with a get-together tonight (his birthday is actually tomorrow). Couldn't afford to buy him a car for his b-day (like rich parents do) so I bought him a Matchbox one so he can say he got a car (ha).
