Someone explain this thing to me. I just got an e-mail from an old friend whom I haven't heard from since august, I believe... he lives in Germany, and I haven't seen him since may. Anyway, he e-mailed me, and told me he downloaded ICQ Lite, and he wants to chat with me and stuff... I downloaded it just now, and now I have no idea how to work it!

ICQers, tell me how this functions, and how I add people to my list, it's not working! *pouts*

[Wall Bash]

Oh, I am SO good!! I just did an e-mail search and found him. [Big Grin]

But I'd still appreciate tips on how to use this thing, it's new and scary! [Wink]

It's also a big piece of crap.

I'd recommend using another program to access ICQ. Trillian and gAIM come to mind.

You could just use AIM to talk to ICQ. Just add the number to your buddy list.

(I already told you in person, I know, think of this as a tip for others)

Plans are to scuttle ICQ and integrate it with AIM fully in the not too distant future, anyways.

I can use AIM to talk to people on ICQ? COOL!

Why has no one told me this before?!

:: sighs ::
ICQ was so much better pre-AOL, crazy people allowing AOL to buy them.
