One more reason to get a console...

::has the Samurai Jack theme song stuck in his head now::

Congratulations Geoff.

Yeah, I think Slash picked up on something the rest of you didn't [Smile]

Does anyone know when it's coming out for the Atari 2600?

Posted by TheTick (Member # 2883) on :

Is this what you've been working on? If so, that is the COOLEST.

I got to sit in the cubical and watch it being debugged. While that doesn't make me as cool as the people who made the game, it certainly makes me cooler than any of you other losers.

I'd really like to do a "The Tick" game someday, actually ... but that's not terribly likely [Smile] That's fine, I'm more of a hardcore gamer, anyway. I wouldn't buy a licensed game unless I made it, or unless it got really good reviews (like Return of the King). And in fact, I think you should all use the same standard. Buy my game and Return of the King [Smile]

I think it's funny, though, that the article credits Sega as having done all the work. Like a publisher would announce THEIR OWN game only a couple of months before release ...

That is so cool! The closest to that I ever even hope to getting to that is reviewing a game. I hope your hard work pays off.

[Party]

Samuri Jack is one of my favorite shows, and one of the few cartoons my wife will stop everything to watch.

And to know, even only vaguely, one of the crew who ported it to a game is great.

Now, when will it be ready for the PC?

Dan, don't even pretend you want to play a platformer on the PC [Smile]

The Tick actually had a game for the Genesis, if I recall, or maybe the SNES...I remember it as being decent if not earth-shaking. I honestly can't wait to see what this looks like.

Well, don't get your hopes up TOO much. It IS my first game and all ... of course, it's not like I was the only one working on it, either ... [Smile]

The best one for me was the GameInformer interview. My producer has this really distinctive way of talking that is hilarious to read in print, if you know him.

To the rest of you, it will probably read kind of funny ...
