OK, who mentioned Peter Mulvey this summer? I am pretty sure it was one of youse three.

I love him! As a matter of fact, I am shelling out some serious cash to see Peter Mulvey, Mark Erelli(one of our local music heroes) and Richard Thompson in Cambridge, followed by a champagne reception at Club Passim. He played at the Iron Horse, but I missed that.

It must have been Sopwith. But I think he might be off-forum for a while, right?

Hey Elizabeth! Glad you've caught on to Peter Mulvey. His new album just hit the stores and I can't wait to pick one up.

Beautiful guitar work, gutsy music and some of the best lyrics I've seen in a long, long time. Can't wait till he swings back through NC again, I missed him the last time. [Frown]

I am sorry you can't come to the champagne reception, Sopwith! I am glad I finally figured out who mentioned him to me.

He does have great lyrics, and a different, sort of throaty voice. You might also like Mark Erelli. He is another up-and-coming folk dude. (I think he is only 26 or 27)

Now the question is: did you see Donna the B when they were down your way? We are planning to come to the Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival next month in Silk Hope. I have no clue how far that is, but it will be four days of fine music. tell your sister(isn;t that who likes them?) if she doesn't already know.

Hehehe, will do. Money's been a little to tight around here of lates, and I'm already looking at missing nearby concerts by Yes and Rush that I'm going to miss.

You might also want to look into Richard Schindell or Cry, Cry, Cry. Great lyrics and fantastic music.
