It's rumored. There is SOME Bab5 project in the works, says JMS himself. New spinoff tv series? Maybe. Movie? Ooooooo... I hope so!

I think the perfect plot for a motion picture would be when the ISA FINALLY discovers that the Drakh have highjacked the Centauri Republic and are using it's industries to rebuild their forces, and when the Keeper awakens and takes over Sheridan and Delenn's son, and showing G'Kar's return to kill his friend Londo. That would be AWESOME! [Monkeys]

What was that last B5 thing they tried? Legend of the Rangers? I was pretty dissapointed that it didn't go anywhere, but even if it had, I probably would have been dissapointed in it.

Yah... Leagend was the last thing they worked on. "I am the Hand." Right right, and I am the sheet that covers the Hand. [Wink]

Fun in it's own little way but the Hand has NOTHING on the Shadows.

JMS wrote an email to a newsgroup saying that a new Bab5 project is in the works and pre-production. JMS also has said that no Bab5 movie would be even attempted till after the last of Star Wars comes out. Well...that time is almost apon us. (thank god) [Razz]

Maybe they will pick Crusade back up, but I guess that I am just a dreamer....

It had better be a movie. I say this because a new series will be canceled after the first season, as Crusade was. That was a disappointment - Not the show itself, but that it was canceled.

I think that Crusade would have been OK if they hadn't relied on the Techno-Mage for everything. I can stomach a deus ex machina every once in a while, but when he shows up *every* episode... [Frown]

That was only a first season thing... Crusade would have gone on to have them solve the plague by the end of it or the second, only to have to deal with the terrible price of the cure...and of course they become outlaws too...
