How did you know that your boyfriend/girlfriend was "the one"? I think I know but seeing as he is the first guy I have ever been out with I've got nothing to compare with... So how do I know whether I am actually in love or weather I just THINK I'm in love? We have ben going out for about 15 months and we are crazier now than when we started....but I've seen my sister think she was in love and the relationship falls apart after about a year or more, and I've heard about people being with the same person for years and years and it still doesnt work out. Also we are young(I am 17 and he is 18)...and havn't really had any major fights...are both at different Universities and this is the first relationship for both of us... (I don't know if these are things that matter, they might but as I said before I don't know because I've never been in another relationship)
I think this makes me sound silly And I really hope I am not sounding doubtful about my relationship, because I wouldn't give this up for the world... I just don't want this feeling to stop, it scares me that it could, judging from other peoples relationships.
Its funny "I know" but how do I know if this feeling of knowing is real? lol sorry I confuse myself.

I'm glad you asked this, because I'm in almost exactly the same situation with my boyfriend (we are in high school and in the same town, we've been dating 11 months instead of fifteen). And I've been thinking about this a lot. We both really want to get married, but we still have college to go.
