quote:
Faith Hill vs. Shania Twain: Among those who weighed in, Faith Hill was tops. But the most common response was more along these lines: "Sorry, not a country fan."
*ashamed*

Sorry, I have to go with Shania on this one... lip synching or no, the outfit she wore at the superbowl a while back was reason enough...

You loose. Faith has brains, charm, musical talent and character. What Shania has can be purchased at Fredricks of Hollywood and you local plastic surgeon.

He's a loose what?

I'm sorry. He loses. My O key is loose.

I do not have enough money to purchase those... and, even if I did, purchased fun is no fun...

Faith is the better singer, if that's what we're talking about...

and we won't discuss what's loose with me beyond my knee joints and maybe a screw or two upstairs...

...mmmmm, Faith.

And when I say "mmmmm", I mean "mmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmm".

Faith! But Shania's not bad either.

Although I'd love to support a fellow Canadian, Faith's voice is absolutely amazing, whereas Shania's is just good. Maybe if she sang different songs that showed off her voice better... Can we throw Alanis in here? I just love her!

Edit: Never mind, I'm trying to rationalize with country fans...

Shania is actually a really great pop singer masquerading as a country singer. If she'd spend a little more time on dance mixes and stuff... she'd be much better received, IMPO.

Faith vs. Shania seems like when I had to pick between Bush vs. Gore.

Pop and I sang "From This Moment On" at our wedding reception. Maybe I will smuggle the tape to the next Shinda.

Maybe I'll hide that tape.

And/or I can bring it to KamaCon...

If we are talking class . . . Faith.
If we are talking voice . . . Faith.
If we are talking looks . . . Faith.

And/or I could burn it....

Posted by Mama Squirrel (Member # 4155) on :

Then I could have Mom make another DVD of it and mail it to Bob or dkw...

Posted by Papa Moose (Member # 1992) on :

Then I could... um... uh...

I got nothin'. She wins, as usual.

I was dead serious when I said Shania was a good pop singer. the problem is, she's singing country, which can take a lot more... something... to do well

wardrobe?
