My best friend got into medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He's starting to look at apartments and thinking of moving in July. However he has *no* idea where to start looking and isn't at all familiar with the area. Any hints on where to look for cheap housing in Milwaukee. I suspect he'd ideally like to not have to travel too far to go to school. But any information you can give me to tell him about about the area, rent prices, or life in general would be super helpful.
