Very strange -- messages showing up two times, deleted messages that show up as ghosts . . . Anyone else experiencing this, or am I the lucky one? [Dont Know]

Great. And it's not my computer -- it's doing this on several different computers.

When I said I wanted my email to look the same on every computer with web access, this was not quite what I had in mind!

I think mine is being weird too, cause my friend sent a few emails to my Yahoo account a couple days ago, and they haven't shown up. Maybe its related?

Hmm. To the best of my knowledge, I'm getting all emails (certainly all the usual suspects). No idea if it's related.

I think Yahoo is planning a major upgrade with its webmail service. I believe the free accounts are going to be upgraded to 10 mb and the paid accounts will be going unlimited. This may be in response to Google's planned Gmail service. Excite's webmail service for their European site is also going through an increase in space.

This could be the reason for your problems rivka. I mean your e-mail problems. [Razz]

I've noticed a few times that messages I tried to delete refused to be deleted for a few seconds. Also, a few messages from friends have gone missing ("I was going to buy you tickets but you didn't respond to my email, so I figured you weren't interested." "What email?!")

True. Blaming Yahoo for ALL my problems, while tempting, is likely unreasonable.

So I guess this means I just ignore it for now, and hope it gets fixed soon. [Razz]

Rivka-my yahoo mail has been doing the same thing for about two weeks now. I just have to refresh to get the ghost emails to go away and for it to update my log-in (if I try to go into my mail-box at that point it tells me my log in, which I did moments before, has expired).

just for the record, my yahoo mail is behaving perfectly well. My voice mail on my cell phone however, isn't. I got all my messages from the last 3 days at once. But that isn't yahoo's fault!

They recently charged my CC for service I don't use but forgot to cancel, for 3 years running. Oh well, never hurts to have a backup POP account.

Yeah, refreshing fixes the ghosts for me too; but I have not been having the re-log-in problem, thank goodness.

I don't think . . .
