Just wondering if anyone out there is a subscriber? I know that most here are into the PC online games but if there are any Xbox live players out there we need to get together and play.

I currently have Mech Assault Warriors, Wolfenstein: Tides of War, and Unreal II: the Awakening. But I would be happy to go waste some money on another game that would allow us to play.

I believe Jamie said she got the Mech game and has Live. I think she's busy with Halo and CS, though. ::shrug::

I have the Mech game and Halo and CS.

Haven't played the Mech yet, but I'm always up for a game with another jatraquero. [Smile]

I might get XBox Live when I get back to school. Maybe not. I'll at least try it out with Halo, but I'm not much of a fan of playing competitive multiplayer if other people aren't in the room.

The only game worthy of multiplayer play is Minesweeper. Too bad it doesn't have the capabilites.

I think Halo 2 will definately require a hatrack game. Ahh... if only it was November 9th already.

If you ever feel like a game Mack, e-mail me or catch me on AIM. I have a feeling I'll be doing a bit of gaming this weekend since I'll be here all alone and don't know how to go to bed early when no one else is around.

Yep, I won't have a Live account until about a week before Halo 2. I can't think of any other game that I'd really want to play online with other people, though I can imagine that will change once the Xbox gets here.

You know, if we could get enough people, we should have a Hatrack Halo 2 clan. That would rock. [Big Grin]

Lime, even though the games out aren't the best. It is still a lot of fun. I've been playing Wolfenstein, which is a platimun hit so you can get it for 20 bucks, and It is a freakin blast. You get to play as either the axis or allies and the game play is actually quite good. It has a cool team game line where different people play different roles. (medic - obviously heals wounded and throws health pack, lueits - throw ammo packs, engineers - can arm and disarm dynomite and there are a few others) Anyways, don't sell the games TOO short. there is still alot of fun to be had and I hear the Rainbow six is the game right now. Probably gonna pick that one up soon.

CounterStrike and Halo are awesome. I played MechAssault this morning and really, really don't like it.

beatnix - I'm not trying to bash any games in particular, I just know that the games I want to get at the moment are all good single player experiences. Halo 2 is the first game I'm planning on getting for the Xbox that's going to be worth the Live account all by itself.

Ah well. Maybe I'll give it a spin before November anyway. *smirk* Listen to me! The bloody Xbox isn't even here yet and I'm already making plans.

[Laugh] Me.

By the by - go check out that Halo 2 screen shot that I posted. You'll love it.

Ninja Gaiden is a cool game. Really, really hard, though. It's the only game that game me a lot of trouble on the first level. I stopped playing it because I got tired of dying and repeating long stretges of a level. Unlike Halo (where I don't mind dying repeatedly) it doesn't have in-level checkpoints you automatically default back to, so you loose a lot of progress every time you die.

I don't like the mechassault game because it's Mechwarrior Lite. I loved Mechwarrior 3 because it was reasonably close to the original Battletech rules and there was lots of room for custom weapon loadouts. Lots of fun. Mechassault doesn't allow any weapon loadouts at all, so no matter what I'm stuck with at least one shite weapon that I don't want (*cough*autocannon*cough*).
