Is it crazy that I feel kind of bad for the trees? I can see braiding them, or grafting to propogate fruit, but this reminds me of those cultures where they wear so much jewelry that their necks would collapse without it.

That's not true, I saw one lady take her neckrings off on tv.... she just felt WAY uncomfortable without them...

wow! Some of those trees are incredible. I especially liked the lattice-type trees on the first link. As for me me trying it, all I can think is that I would have to commit to staying in one place for a very long time and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet.
