If you drank wine...then drank coffee...what would happen? Stimulant vs. depressent, sure, but they act in different ways. What would the combination do?

Well, obviously death.
And maybe some redness and chaffing.

Make you have to pee, most likely.
Seriously, no idea.

Mixing stimulants with depressants creates a wide awake drunk, which is the nastiest kind, as the cocaine&disco years provided by Reagan proved.

Since alcohol is both a stimulant and a depressant, and hot coffee can be a soporific (if you fall asleep before the caffeine kicks in), timing will also be important to your little experiment.

It's like vodka mixed with Red Bull. You're drunk but you have plenty of energy.

Now Reagan's getting blamed for Disco? And cocaine?
Everyone knows disco was a direct result of Watergate.
As to the topic at hand, there's a reason Irish Coffee is popular.
