So did you Chicago area people feel that earthquake they said rumbled your area this morning?

Nope, It was news to me, when I read it on CNN but I've slept through far worse out in CA. Don't remember waking up because of the dog or anything either. (Often dogs will start howling right before an earthquake.)

This would be the second or third earthquake I've slept through.

Wonder if I would (sleep through one)? Never been around an earthquake.

Kinda hard to sleep through a tornado (around here) usually there's this big thunderstorm right before it...... <grin>

VĂ¡na and I are in Rockford... we didn't feel a thing. Am I surprised that we slept through it? No, not really. [Smile]

Lets see if we can describe an Earthquake in terms Farmgirl, a good Kansas woman, can associate with....

Its like a tornado, but not as windy.

Ah, I see. So when you walk out to the front porch, you're looking up a completely still funnel.

PG-13. It made some breasts jiggle but didn't knock any clothes off.

*laughs* Funny Dagonee!

I didn't feel it, either. But I'm now wondering if that is why Raina was crawling all over me this morning. She was annoying me so much I threw her in the library and closed the door. They do say animals are more sensitive to these things.

My friend in Berrien Springs, MI was awake at the time seeing her husband off to his (very) early morning truck driving job, and she did feel it though just a couple vibrations and said her dogs went crazy a couple of minutes before.
