with Jack Johnson.

I would like to formally chastise all my musical Hatrack friends, SPEED, for instance, and ANNIE, for not insisting that I listen to Jack Johnson RIGHT THEN.

Harumph, I say.

I have heard him on the radio, liked the songs, thought he sounded like Nick Drake, and moved on.

My husband got a live solo acoustic set that he played before his Greek Theater show. It is amazingly beautiful.

That is all.

Well, not quite. I did a search to see if he had been mentioned. Nick and Annie both mentioned him. (casually, I might add)

Also, he has a great rythmic guitar riff that is simple yet deep. My son can play along with him.

I LOVE his music. Mainly because I'm huge fan of rhythmic acoustic guitar....

Taylor is an especially good song.

You are absolved, Speed. Try the Internet Archive. I think that is where my husband got this.

Just today, I had "moves like a jellyfish, rhytm don't mean nothing" stuck in my head. You gotta love them lyrics [Smile]

Hey - someone resurrect the lyric game, willya?

So, WHERE HAVE I BEEN????

It was funny, because I was listening to his music, thinking how Nick Drakish it was. I went to his website, and when he is asked who his influences are, Nick Drake was the first listed.

Has anyone seen him live? Is it worth daring the Big Concert to see him?
