No, it's not an Onanism thread.

I remembered an old (DOS) puzzle game a roommate from college had on his PC, and via google found a free download. It's called "The Fool's Errand." Has anyone else ever played it?

Anyway, not incredibly difficult, but I reminisced for a bit while re-solving some of the puzzles. Download is available here. Part of it was kind of a pain, because the game doesn't seem to interface well with the mouse I have, or possibly its controller? Anyway, it kept thinking I was clicking continually when I held down the button, even when my click was as instantaneous as I could make it. Don't know if anyone else will have that problem.

Whatever -- take it for what you will.

Papa Moose,

I am engaged in Old School Time Wasting Behavior right now. In my class, I accuse my students of "TWB:" Time Wasting Behavior.

Here I sit, not doing a very simple assignment for a class I am taking. It is due August 1. I figure, I have until midnight. Keep pushing the time back. Or forward.

So, just reading about your time wasting game makes me waste time, which is a game that I seem to be playing.

Thanks!

If you like Cliff Johnson's games, try 3 in Three. It has a somewhat different flavor from Fool's Errand, but is just as good. But stay away from his At the Carnival. It's boring as heck.
