...has it become a Christmas gift now? [Smile]

Posted by dkw (Member # 3264) on :

I think we're shooting for Halloween.

I saw it recently. It's possible it might be a Halloween gift. I don't think it'll be a labor day gift.

It is very cool, though. Worth the wait.

It might even take the blue ribbon.

And every time you ask about it, we'll put it to the bottom of the pile. So there!

[Razz]

ha ! Psych!!!

Hi dkw! [Kiss]

I'm free now! Guests have departed and I'm all alone.

SO lonely...

Like an ark with no animals...

[Wink]

No cuteness here! There's no time for cuteness when you could be working on my wife's Halloween present!

[Smile]

(But seriously, folks, you're adorable.)

We're just trying to inspire you to have more kids Tom...you and Christy are obviously very good at it.

Hey, we do this in turns. You're it.

Dana keeps insisting on being married first. I'm playing along.

It seems rather out of sequence, but whatever. She's the one with the reputation to maintain. I've decided that my role in all of this is to avoid embarrasing her any more than is absolutely necessary.

Posted by dkw (Member # 3264) on :

And thank you so much for not embarrassing me more than absolutely necessary.

PS: Was this really necessary?!?

Sorry my love. I forgot to put on my WWDD bracelet before sitting down at the computer.

[Razz]

Uh, Tom, I think I'M It.

oh yeah, since I'm not doing any sewing I guess I need to send Dana something...

Dang it, I need to do that...

Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :

romanylass, did I miss something?

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

Bob, you should keep embarressing her. It's good for her.

Besides, I think it's funny. [Big Grin]

Posted by Kwea (Member # 2199) on :

Bob, you could keep ELJay and Dana happy, and just make sure you keep the embaressing relalations confined to her family... [Evil]

We would all find that funny, I am sure....

Yes, I'm expecting in April.

romanylass! Congratulations!!! This IS news!

I hope you are having an easy time of it, so far, and continue to stay healthy, etc.

[Party]

Drat! Okay, one more thing added to the shopping list. Now that we're a two-car family again (yay!!), I can run my own errands whenever I want - therefore, Monday afternoon it is. [Smile]

Thanks for the reminder, Tom! [Embarrassed]

It would be really nice if at least eight more people did this. I can fill in, but the more the merrier, of course.

*hopes really hard that the ribbons will turn up while packing*

>_<

Posted by romanylass (Member # 6306) on :

So we can still send ribbons? E-mail me your address, and I will send you one. Really!

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Okay, I got a little lost in the other huge thread. What do I need to do exactly?

Posted by dkw (Member # 3264) on :

Decorate a ribbon w/your name and a greeting or whatever. Send it to me at PO Box 472, Radcliffe, IA 50230.

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

What kind of ribbon? Is there a length or width guideline? Color? *hopeful*

Posted by dkw (Member # 3264) on :

The ones I have so far range from 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches wide and 10 inches to 2 1/2 feet long and are every color of the rainbow.

Try to stay somewhere in that range. [Wink]

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

*grin* Can do. Will do tomorrow.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

". . . every color of the rainbow."

So, no black or brown? [Wink]

Posted by dkw (Member # 3264) on :

Um . . . not yet?

Posted by romanylass (Member # 6306) on :

Done..now I just need a stamp.

Posted by AmkaProblemka (Member # 6495) on :

Actually... I'm expecting in March.

Again, another plea for the throw-up icon.

Posted by romanylass (Member # 6306) on :

Hey, congrats Amka!

Posted by AmkaProblemka (Member # 6495) on :

You too, romany!

Posted by AmkaProblemka (Member # 6495) on :

Anyway, does this mean I can STILL send in a ribbon? That my villainous powers of procrastination have not prevailed?

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Dagnabbit, I knew I forgot to do something today.

I did finally mail my brother's birthday package, two months late.

Posted by dkw (Member # 3264) on :

Amka -- yes.
