This isn't just a "let's use every possible H*R reference we can think of" kind of game. Well, maybe it is, but you can still be really creative and come up with a really great profile for your character. Use the writing skills I know you have!

This could be a good reference for folks who aren't that familiar with H*R but would still like to play. You can use your imagination to flavor up any of the minor characters you see here. Except maybe Thomas. I think that's who I'm gonna be.

Every time I've played, there have been several first-timers, even people who asked what mafia was at first. Don't feel intimidated because you don't know anyone or don't know how to play--you'll become familiar with both soon enough. It's a lot of fun, even though it is slightly addicting.

And just think what kinds of cool death scenes Jon Boy and Pat can write in the HR world! You can be kicked to death, burninated, or plain baleeted. All this for the low low price of $0.00 and your soul.

I can't believe how many times I've heard that. Sheesh, people! The setting is only a small part of mafia. I don't like poultry porn, but that mafia game was very fun. I don't like Mars especially, but I had fun then too. If you like mafia, play!
