Hey everybody! (Hey, doctor Nick!)

Anyway, I'm looking for a downloadable program with which I can do the following:

Cut bits of music out of audio files and merge them together to create a new piece.

Basically, I want a editing tool.

Any ideas?

Goldwave is a pretty straigtforward sound editor.

Acid Xpress is used for putting together loops. The free version is limited to 10 tracks.

Audacity is used more for recording.
