I wonder how long that dog will live. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't develop heart problems or something from gravity pulling on its organs in ways that it hasn't really evolved to handle.

Also, how does it stop? Can it balance on two legs continually, or do its owners have a specially sized table or cot or something that it flops onto periodically?

I'd be worried about the dog's hips first and foremost. I'm pretty sure they're being stressed ways they were never designed to be.

I wonder if they have a cart arrangement at home. I've seen carts for dogs that don't have the use of their back legs - through paralysis or amputation. Don't think I've seen one for front legs, but it should work - more natural on the hips and legs than trotting on the hind legs in an upright position.
