I am not sure if that is disturbing or funny.

No way, that's retarded. It was the "dead center" of the tub thing that did it for me. How cheesy can you get?

It is one of those things that you know must be fake but it still makes you feel unsettled.

Sooooo, if I want to make a ton of money off of a silly plastic toy, all I have to do is make up a supernatural story to explain the blemish on it?

Edit: I take that back, the guy never paid! [Razz] Weeeeird.

I'll just feel bad for them when they've shipped it to Outer Mongolia, only to return from the DHL station to find it again, floating "dead center" in the tub.

P.S. Duh, Bev, the duck will stop at nothing to stay near the boy.

One time I decided my sister's house must be haunted because I thought I left the dish soap by the sink, but the next time I looked it was on the windowsill above the sink. Though come to think of it, I could use some dishwashing poltergeists.

Why weren't they in the bathroom when their son was taking a bath? Wasn't he only two or three?

And were the toys distorted and losing their color, or was this just what the little boy said?

I should get me one of thems.

quote:
He went about playing and splashing with his other toys, all the while ignoring the duck, intentionally or not. It was at this point our son noticed the other toys in the tub changing shape, distorting and losing their color into the water. He didn't understand what was happening but he knew something wasn't right, he also noticed that Yella was eerily positioned at the end of the tub, dead center and facing him directly. He also noticed the ducks shape hadn’t changed and his color appeared to be as bright as ever. It seemed as though the toys were melting before him. It was at this point that he reached out to grab the duck, almost mesmerized by his yellow body. As he grabbed the duck he felt a piercing pain in the palm of his hand and immediately threw the toy back into the water, he was sure he had been bitten.
First Person Omniscient?

What a bunch of carp. The most disgusting thing would have been if he had sold this story for $107.50, while I have yet to sell one of mine.

10 month olds typically don't know words besides mama and dada. 2 year olds don't know colors. If they do know colors, and were going to mispronouce them, they would not come out "yella". "Yewo" (assimiliation) or "Wewo" (fronting, delateralized) would be the expected babification of "Yellow".

And if he put the duck in a tupperware container, where'd that picture of the duck OUTSIDE a tupperware container come from?

I mean, its not very usual to take pictures of just your childrens toys, is is? just the toy?
