The wonderful Dallas band Mur will be having their LAST HOME SHOW before moving to the golden city of lost angels.

Saturday Night @ the Gypsy Tea Room
September 25th.

All Hatrackers are Welcome

NOTE::: Los Angeles only looks golden from a distance because of the smog and the fact that a lot of the people are really plastic robots and the sun reflects of them in a weird way.

Mur is moving???!!!!

[Cry] [Cry] [Cry]

Will do all I can to be there.

Other Dallasites or nearby peoples... this is a GREAT band. Don't miss your chance.

How do I find you, if I can make it?

Um... What kind of music do they play?

Is that tomorrow?

Okay, I have a dinner thing at five, a meeting at seven, and a ward activity at nine that I should be at, but I could come later, I think. I can bring Coccinelle! *volunteers Coccinelle (you need a nickname, girl) without asking* What time are they playing - I think I could come by.

It's very nicely done Alt Rock... kinda coldplay-ish but more intense and more fun, both. One time I saw them and the show was silky, sexy and smokey, the next time it was completely goofy and bouncy. They vary, but are always great.

It's at the Gypsy Tea Room (on the "good side" of Deep Ellum), $10 at the door. Looks like Mur is headlining so that would mean they go on around midnight, would be my guess.

edit: yes, it's tomorrow.

Oh, that counts me out. It's not really my type of music, but I'm always interested in anything someone says is really good. The time is too much for someone with a 6-month-old who has to be at church at 9 the next morning, though. [Frown] *misses the days when she would have just stayed up all night and slept after church the next day*

I'm going to be up in the air but Thor, tell me what you look like so I can pick you out in the very likely event that I get there...

Mur rules.

Um. You can look at my photo's in foobonic.

and i'll figure out what I'm going to wear,

ok.

I will be wearing
a gray button down shirt.
Blue jeans and black boots.

I have some huge chops (sideburns)
and have a very long
goatthing growing from my chin.

Can't wait to see you
Hatrack brothers and sisters!

We missed it. [Frown]

The other thing didn't get out until after 12:30, so it was too late to go. How did it go?
