Last night my parents house was hit by a drunk driver. He took out their kitchen and left them with no gas or running water.

Then this afternoon my grandfather passed away. Although he was 94, was in very poor health, and this wasn't a big surprise, death is never pleasant to deal with.

I just spoke again with my mom and she's in good spirits and laughing. Some people's faith and coping mechanisms are amazing.

Hooray for my mom!
