I wasn't watching that closely, so this is for everyone else to inform people.
One thing I did see, which I think was predicted, was that a higher percentage of Democrats voted Bush than Republicans Kerry. Which made up for the independent vote leaning towards Kerry.
What else did you notice?

Some more detailed breakdown (99% reporting at this point):
Male: 46% (Is this a first, that the women voters out numbered the men?) Bush: 54% Kerry: 45%
Female: 54% Kerry: 52% Bush: 47%
(Seems like normally women vote higher percent Democrat, I could be remembering wrong...)
Democrat: 37% Kerry: 89% Bush: 10%
Repbulican: 37% Bush: 93% Kerry: 7%
Indpendent: 26% Kerry: 50% Bush: 47%

No one's surprised by that. A lot of "Democrats" like Zell Miller and our own OSC only call themselves "Democrats" out of some sense of tradition.
