For some reason, I can't log out of Hatrack. I'm trying to shut down and I wanted to log out first.
It won't let me!!!
Leggo!

Why on earth do you do that?
Not your computer?
Posted by blacwolve (Member # 2972) on :
I don't think I've ever logged out. Sorry

The Hatrix has you...

(For a minute there, I could not open Thor's thread at all. So it was probably just a hatrack fart.)

I forgot to logout last time I posted from my parent's computer. I'm still kinda half-waiting for something to show up under my ID that I don't remember writing...

Like this you mean?
Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :
Nope. I mean in a way that wouldn't say "New Member" beside it and would affect my post count.
You know, in my welcome thread Sara advised me to go register EIJay, and I never did it.

I couldn't resist it. You're welcome to it if you want it though.
(Already offered it to you in your fashion thread)

I once forgot to log out of Leto's laptop. He was kind enough not to take advantage of this, though.
He could have totally destroyed my reputation during the 2 weeks he had access to my handle.

I tried deleting cookies.
I am using Firefox. Does that make a difference?
Posted by vwiggin (Member # 926) on :
I have the same problem.
Firefox asked me whether I wanted to remember the login information for Hatrack. I clicked yes. Now I cannot log out of my Vwiggin account.

In firefox, go to tools -> Options -> Privacy -> stored passwords -> View saved passwords. Look for the hatrack.com domain, and remove it from your list.
See if that works.

Have you tried going to Tools-option-privacy and clearing form information, saved passwords, and cache?

How?

Ah, I get it. Poseable_Man wants to post!
Poor Poseable_Man!

I wonder if I could go to Tools-Options-Time Machine-delete Bok's reply.
Posted by Bokonon (Member # 480) on :
Good luck finding THAT extension
BWAHAHA!

Sorry for deleting my post Adam, I didn't know someone had replied already.
You can select "show password" and see all the saved passwords people entered into youf browser!
I deleted the post because I figured out you can prevent other people from viewing your password by setting a master password.
Still, now I know my best friend loves Christina Aguilera a little too much.
BTW, I blame this all on Bok.

For me, it is under options-privacy-view saved passwords-show passwords.

Well, I was logged in as myself, not as K.A.M.A.

Or wait. Are you saying my reputation can't get any worse?

Hatrack is the Hotel California? whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I think it might be a Hatrack thing. I couldn't get access even when logged in last week. I would get conflicting messages "thanks for logging in" and the other message "you aren't logged in" remained as well - I emailed our kind mods and it was fixed the next day - at least I assume they fixed it . . . I was able to log in.
