... I'm really sorry, Hatrack, but I've been cheating on you all day...
I've spent about 98% of my web-reading time today with Another Forum.
It isn't like it is more beautiful, or has more features, or offers better company. In fact, I'm not even a member of this other forum -- just a lurker and reader.
But this is really really big news in this area today, and I'm such a news junkie that I can't resist learning every little detail..
(Police have made an arrest today of a guy they are testing to see if he is the serial killer they have been hunting for since 1974......)

How do you think I feel? Bewildered, betrayed.
Sounds like potentially good news.

Clarification:
*Very not shocked to hear eslaine refer to himself as a floozy. I read the memo.*

I didn't think you got that memo.

What the heck is a BTK Strangler, and why does it -- or he, I'm assuming -- need a forum?
Posted by TMedina (Member # 6649) on :
Besides sounding like a failed Burger King special, the BTK Strangler is a serial killer out of Kansas.
Although I'd never heard the name until now - apparently he (?) has taken a page from the Zodiac killer.

OH -- news annoouncement -- it isn't him!
They did a rush on the DNA.
Then they yelled at the media for following them (the police) around and making a big deal out of this before they could get final results..
poor guy -- at least he gets to go back home

TomD -- to answer your question -- it is one of the great unsolved crime sprees of the century. The forum is a bunch of amateur sleuths trying to figure it out...
He re-connected with media this year and took responsbility for another killing they didn't know about. So it has been a hot topic of conversation..

Don't worry about it. As far as I'm concerned, it has been an open relationship all along. Why, I'm dating two other fora even now.

A most depressing forum, chock full of murders and missing persons....just the holiday pick-me-up I wasn't looking for
