I just found out today at work that I got a promotion that I had put in for about a month ago. [Party]

Well sort of--- I had to take a demotion to transfer back to Kansas and I got promoted back to my original grade.

Congrats!

When I left NYC, I took a pay cut that took me over 10 years to recover from. It was a hugely important quality of life decision, though.

Congrats on making it back to where you were so quickly.
