I am not too happy about this week, especially Christmas ensuing soon.
But, at least this great opera will be on the radio on Saturday.

Do you have any friends you can spend Christmas with? Or how about volunteering at a Children's hospital or soup kitchen or something like that? You'll probably feel a whole lot better than being alone. [Group Hug]

Come to that, it's my first Christmas alone, too. But I think my mother is more depressed by it than I am.

I don't know where you are, but I doubt it matters much. There are usually a lot of places that could use a volunteer for a day, whether Christmas or some other time of year. Newspapers frequently have listings of volunteer organizations in the classifieds. There may be listings for your locality on the internet. Check around. And good luck!

I'd almost prefer being alone to being stuck at my parents' house...
At any rate, I hope you have some luck finding a way to make it a happy Christmas Synesthesia. These 7-UP party spots are for you! [Party]
And this circle of mutants is as well... [Group Hug]

Yeah, Boris, I hear ya. I stopped spending Christmas with my parents 15 years ago. It was the best move ever! [Evil]

it's not quite the same, but for the first time ever, we're doing christmas small. No one from out of town is coming in, we're not going anywhere. Partly because my grandma is sick (not serious but she's got a sore throat and is really tired), partly because of weather, and partly because of my dad's current job situation. It will be different, i've always wanted to cancel christmas, and now I'm a bit upset.

Mutants! [ROFL]
The nice thing is, no nagging... I cannot abide nagging..
Still, it would be nice to visit a friend. My friend in NY will probably disapear again...

Definately volunteer! I'm sure there are senior citizens in a nursing home nearby who would absolutely love to have some company.

Start your own holiday tradition, something you do on holidays to celebrate and feel good, regardless of what other people do.

Volunteer. Five hour bubble bath with tasty novels. Matinee with your favorite popcorn topping.

Rent your favorite movie, snag your favorite food, and shut all the curtains. Whatever it takes.

*wave* (I'll be thinking of you.)

Opera
Earl Grey tea!
Clay snow men!

But, there's bond to be someplace I can help out near me.
