I have the Warning.
It was not unexpected,
but what of Jesse?

Jesse's got himself a girl
and I want to make her mine!

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

Having offered puns,
I knew I was burdensome.
Now it is broken.

Posted by Boris (Member # 6935) on :

You know I wish that
867-5309
I had Jesse's girl

It's unfortunate.
Few members can make haikus.
It isn't that hard.

Sara wrote a haiku about my web site! From her old screen name!

::dies::

saxon (or saxoff),
you have made a sweet refuge.
Of course it is missed.

No sakeriver?
Rats! I wanted to tender
my registration.

I don't understand.
I just looked at the forum.
I saw no errors.

Please don't make me go into my "5-7-5 does not equal haiku" rant. [Razz]

It worked for me, yo.
Don't worry yourself at all.
Is Sara okay?

I have to admit
I'm not so good with seasons.
But at least I tried.

Alas! Rejected
by the most sacred of sites.
I, alone, weep tears.

Ah! Joyously, I
access the main page. Still, the
forum denies me.

Drat.

Perhaps the middle
of the lines requires another
forlorn syllable?

Posted by PSI Teleport (Member # 5545) on :

In a foreign tongue
it's not as complicated,
unlike Japanese

Posted by Homestarrunner (Member # 5090) on :

But my McHaiku
conforms to regulations
and has a playplace

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

I love my haiku
Any opportunity
is a good excuse.

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

Success. I feel like the misfit who finally got asked to prom. [Smile] (Sure, it was by my cousin, but this was in Indiana, after all, so it counts.)

Posted by Boris (Member # 6935) on :

Oops, I am stupid
Seven has two sylables
So my haiku sucks.

Posted by PSI Teleport (Member # 5545) on :

You can say it like
they do in baptist hymnals:
minus an "e": sev'n.

A good start on the subject.

If I write haiku
about trees in wintertime
is that sufficient?

I'm sorry to derail this thread, but CT, I sent you an email And was wondering if you got it. I figured you might have been off work Monday and not seen it.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to contribute to the subject of this thread. I've enjoyed reading the haikus, though.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

I think I killed CT's haiku thread. [Frown] Does anybody have a defibralator?

Posted by MidnightBlue (Member # 6146) on :

Check in the anti-January thread.

Why I love the Film Crew Online: Seven Haiku Poems Based on the Season's Top Hollywood Movies

I like the one for Friday Night Lights:

Blue, thirty-two, blue,
Thirty-two, set, hut-hut-hut...

Dagonee, don't you
realize no one enjoys
a Haiku Nazi?
