IMO, if everyone abided by the "search before you start a new thread" rule, this forum would consist of maybe 4 threads with perhaps 20,000 posts each.

Because, you figure if you've already said it once, there's no reason to say it again. Everyone should be perfectly content to search through 200 pages of dead threads to become familiar with your stance.
