Actually, all I want to know is, who's responsible for this contract, who's responsible for the illegal advertising. And then all parties involved, should be removed from office.

According to our public radio station this morning, there are a second and a third commentator duplicitly on the government payroll. The third is Michael McManus (sp?) -- don't remember the second.

In all fairness, Bush has called for this practice to end.

Yeah, but what if he called for it to start?

Still, anyone responsible apparently broke the law, and if we don't remove from public office people who break laws concerning use of their power, we've got a problem. We need to find out who is responsible, and it needs to be an investigation carried out by people not associated with the white house.

$240,000?

How much money did the Clintons make on Whitewater? About the same amount (and he wasn't even president, then). We spent over $70,000,000 prosecuting them on that issue.

I say let's get 'im!

As Dag said earlier, there are enough differences between what they did this time, compared to the last time, that they can say they didn't know they weren't supposed to do it.

However, I found this article yesterday rather disturbing. If you found 240,000 outrageous, what do you think of 88 million? http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/usatoday/20050127/ts_usatoday/reportprspendingdoubledunderbush
