Ever since somebody reminded me that I need it, I won't be satisfied until we have the entire series of Dinosours out on DVD.

Also, I need at least Season 3 of Arrested Development. Given that they're not finished airing Season 2 yet, I think it'll take a while for that to happen.

I'd love to get the first four seasons of The Amazing Race on DVD, since there's no other way for me to see them!

Zeug, someone's auctioning all FIVE seasons of TAR on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=617&item=6365900205&rd=1

(You can find *anything* on Ebay!).

FYI, I've never done business with this seller. Caveat emptor!

Wow, AM, that's really tempting... especially if they're telling the truth about having "extras" like TV interviews and check presentations. Mmmmmm. [Big Grin]

Parker Lewis Can't Lose and TITUS

since they finally started releasing Dream On and NewsRadio is scheduled for May, then the shows previously mentioned are all i need.

I just found out that the Sopranos' dvds do not go all the way up through this year! WHAT?? We are almost through year four. So now, I am in the same situation I am in with these dagblasted fantasy writers, Martin and Haydon.

Stargate!!!! I have season 1 & 2, now just need the rest.

Stargate Atlantis Season One Complete is available here already. Except it's not complete. It only has episodes 1-4, 6-15. What do they have against episode 5? And what, the season just ends at 15? Yeah, right!

I saw an infomercial advertising all the episodes of Hee Haw on DVD.

Not sure I could go sit through those again.....

I would like to see a Wallace and Ladmo DVD, but that's probably not the most likely thing to be released nationally. [Grumble]

Wallace and Ladmo DVD
Holy cow! I grew up on that stuff in Phoenix. We were there from '67 to '78.

My brother moved back there a few years ago and discovered that Pat McMahon was televising a weekly show of W&L greatest moments. He's been taping them for me.

Oh, and the last time I was visiting my brother in Phoenix, he took me to the Wallace and Ladmo museum.

I'm a big Mister Grudgemeyer fan myself.

Netflix doesn't have any of Due South, and I wanted my husband to see it, and it's too expensive for us to buy everywhere I find it. [Cry]

Posted by Miro (Member # 1178) on :

I know. I wanted to Netflix Due South as well. Also annoying: Netflix has the second season of Northern Exposure, but not the first.

Other than that, I love Netflix for watching television. So far, I've Netflixed 5 1/2 seasons of Stargate Sg-1, Sports Night, and Freaks and Geeks.

The Lone Gunmen is coming out on DVD? Seriously? I thought everyone had forgotten that show ever existed. [Eek!]

*dances* [Party]

Also, Season 8 of Stargate has been out for a week. How did I miss this?!? Now at the top of my Netflix queue (displacing MacGyver, amusingly).

Now the next season of Moonlighting needs a release date . . .

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Rivka, you have obviously not been anticipating it for five months since you read the release date on gateworld.net.

*sigh* What kind of SG-1 fan are you?

Well, O'Neill's cuter than MacGyver. Carter's smarter. Daniel is more philosophical. And Teal'c is stronger. No wonder they're on top. [Big Grin]

I have SG-1 seasons 1-7 on DVD! Yay!

But since SG Atlantis was missing episodes and we took it back, they haven't released a new set of DVDs, so we're currently sans Atlantis. Which has me very unhappy.

I need them all!

You know, unless they changed this, there is a place somewhere on Netflix you can request disks they don't currently stock. In fact, click here to go to that page. [Smile]

There are an amazing number DVDs coming out every week these days so it's understandable to miss a few now and then.

I'm going to invest in Stargate: Atlantis mostly because I really like the show and I want it to continue [Smile] .

I have all the episodes (there's 20 in the first season) but I want to own them!

I want The Chimp Channel on dvd. That show was awesome.

KarlEd, I love you. I know how to add things to my queue that haven't been released yet but are in their catalog (Stargate Atlantis' first season, f'rinstance), but didn't know (or think to figure out) how to request things like this.

*odd look* Um, you do see the irony in that statement, neh? Anyway, I disagree. Jack is handsome. MacGyver is cute. [Big Grin]

For some reason the link does not work for me. I guess it knows I am using my work computer.

*Disclaimer: For all your Valve needs call Crump & Co.*

There, now it is being used for work.

When is Scrubs season 2 coming out? I got KQ hooked on that one.

Posted by Miro (Member # 1178) on :

Thanks, KarlEd. I didn't know that was there.

Rivka - Not really. Richard Dean Anderson looks far better as O'Neill than as MacGyver. [Smile]

Ron and I watched the dvds of Profit, a show from 1995 that critics LOVED and NOBODY watched. Fox cancelled it after two episodes aired. It was ahead of its time. There are hints of lesbianism and it dances around incest. It would have been a perfect cable show, but those wer ethe days before HBO got in to episodic TV.

The "graphic, 3-d interface" on the company's computer system and the absolute HUGENESS of the cell phones are the only things that really date it (outside of the occassional 90s wardrobe flashback).

The reviews on Amazon are also cool.

Still no Two Guys and A Girl. Too bad, that show was hilarious.

Generally if fox cancels a show after only a few episodes it is worth buying on dvd.

I'm sad there's still no Wonder Years.

Gah! Thread Necromancy!

I read the first half of this thread without looking at the dates, just feeling tons of Deja Vu.

But no! The Dead live and they're coming to eat my braaa~aaains!

Geez. You get yelled at for starting new threads about a topic that already exists, and for using existing threads, too.

*sigh*

Can't win.

BUT, go NETFLIX these Profit dvds anyway. Think outside the box, but always, always sleep in it.

Posted by The Pixiest (Member # 1863) on :

Sorry Olivet =) I'm of the "Start a new thread after a certain amount of time has passed" philosophy.

(Hey, maybe we can have big flaming debates over that like gay marriage or abortion!)
