[Big Grin]

If you're being serious, I'm not going to explain it to you.

I'm so glad this isn't....Oh, wait.

He has no producitivity anyway so there is nothing to soar hence it doesn't look like he'll get one.

Maybe...

Eljay explained it to the slow guy who hasn;t had caffeine today (that's my pathetic excuse and I'm sticking to it).

He's using the blackberry under the table and it looks like he;'s doing something else...

I guess I move in circles where people openly use their blackberries in the middle of a meeting. [Dont Know]

I just wanna know how "I'm not going to explain it to you" translates into "Call me and I'll explain it to you."

[Wink]

I think Scott Adams screwed up a little on this one. He should have said, "Trust me. That doesn't look good."

Posted by Intelligence3 (Member # 6944) on :

Well, you explained it, right?

I chalk it up to pity.

I though it was one of the long cartoons...there isn't always a punch line at the end of every single strip, sometimes it takes a few frames to build up to one. I like Dilbert, although he needs to take that to the bathroon or something. [Big Grin]

I didn't either. I'm still not sure that Hatrack's Favorite Thread Topic is the answer.

Look at Dilbert's hands. He either has to pee or [Monkeys]

I did miss his arms together there under the table. That makes sense now.
The thing is you can use PDA’s for notes during meetings. Who can tell if you’re not taking or playing the latest game!

Yeah, this strikes me as something where Adams was in a meeting and watched someone using a PDA under the table and thought it looked funny. It doesn't seem to have been entirely successful.

It's kind of a weak joke, almost something a fourth-grader would think up. And there was just too much of a jump from the second to the third frames.

It might have worked better if Dilbert had been looking down, and little sound effects were coming from the Blackberry. [Dont Know]

Edit: I had a boss about 5 years ago who had a pretty spiffy PDA. He always brought it to meetings and he was always using it. Looked like he was very intently taking notes and organizing his life according to the important things that were being said in the meetings. Turns out he was playing Battleship the whole time.

This discussion is funny considering the name of one of his books. [Wink]

A very tasty gadget that is almost enough to make a mugger out of me.

In "meeting mode" it vibrates every time you get an e-mail.

Or so I've heard.
