...in honor of the birth of my newest nephew, Noah Gabriel, born this day at 1:13 P.M. 9 pounds one ounce (didn't get length on the message his daddy left on my machine), ten fingers and ten toes, all proportioned as expected and hoped. Mother and baby (and even father) are all doing swimmingly.

Corwin, I don't disagree with the sentiment, but "little"? At 9 lbs., 1 oz.? No, no. Not little. Big!

Her third child was 9 pounds 6 ounces, I believe, so 9-1 is smaller, if not actually small.
