It seems like I never see her anymore, and that's a real shame because she's a great sister in law. [Frown]

Sister in law?

I miss her too, she used to post much more!

Doesn't anyone know Hatrack genealogy anymore?

*shakes head sadly*

Oh, hush, rivka. How many people here do you think know you're actually my mother? [Wink]

I've been a pretty active poster for over a year, and I've never even heard of it.

Katie is most wonderful ever.

Katie is, as of about 10 minutes ago, (according to Steve who is home, though I'm at work) sacked out on my living room couch. Eddie is on an adjacent couch, sawing logs as well.

(Incidentally Eddie's feet Stink from those sandals he's been wearing. I understand why they instituted footwashing in biblical times. Jesus needs his feet washed, though I just used Lysol from a distance.)

They are talking about going into Chicago for the day but it depends on when they wake up. I suspect they will succumb to the allure of Hatrack before they leave.

It was quite amusing last night, we ended up at three different computers IMing each other from different rooms, rather than speaking. (I still can't believe I've got a new computer!) Then we reconverged into the same room and got a long hatrackish conversation in person, and I've only gotten about 4 hours of sleep.

Katie only attacked Eddie once and he didn't bite. And in all fairness, it was his computer that she was fighting to take from him.

*tackle hugs Hobbesy*

I miss you too, sweetie. Y'all so should have been there - it just wasn't right without the comments from Hobbes.

Yes, Hobbes is my brother-in-law. A very long time ago, Annie, Jon Boy, and I determined that a quick description of our majors in college, hobbies, religion, and attitudes on many things were so similiar that we were practically siblings. Hobbes is Annie's, and so that makes him my brother-in-law. [Smile] He's a very good one.

But of course he is - Hobbes is fabulous. [Smile]

You're awake!

Here at work I've been having to use scalpels while sleep deprived... No nicks yet though.

We woke up at 12:45, and I think Eddie just rolled over and went back to sleep.

Steve is telling me stories. *twinkle*

oh dear... please tell him not to forget the bulk dinner tonight. It will be you, me, Eddie, maybe Don, and a husband and wife and two older kids that are coming to see the puppies. Husband is coming straight from work so they aren't going to have time before dinner.

And *don't* say what you are thinking, I'm not being "nurturing" [Roll Eyes] , Steve is doing the cooking [Wink]

I'm on vacation...I'll sleep until I'm darn ready to get up. [Razz]

In fact, I might just take my laptop back to the couch with me.

(((((Kat))))) I'm glad to see you here Kat, even if you still can't post much due to AJ stealing you away (and AJ and I used to be so close! Hey, that reminds me, I should e-mail her *runs off*)

y'know, I can actually picture that - Frisco asleep on the couch, with his laptop tucked under his arm like a teddy bear ... talk about a security object. [Wink]

It's been less than 24 hours, and I miss Kat too...
I think I'm falling into the post-con blues.

You guys are hooked too? I had no idea, we should form a support group.
I've missed kat, ever since my merc regiment got back from the Sudan.
*hands tremble*
Withdrawal is not pretty. [Frown]

Oh, you mean Lady Jane...yeah, I miss her too. But withdrawal hasn't set in yet. [Wave]
